All four companies make watches that are visually similar and are of good quality. In some respects the Seiko Astron, might be the most accurate watch in the entire world. They all tend to be cheaper then Rolex and are not something a person should be ashamed to wear.
For me they are equivalent of watch microbrands making very well made homage watches for the fraction of the original price. Very good value for money but also they lack of originality. Vass on the other hand looks a little less refined in terms of these small details, however they feel like more „substantial” and „solid” shoe on feet.
For me, no watch with black tie, and leather strap/dress watch (maybe) with the most formal clothing. But my 24/7 default is a Nomos Club Atlantik date (42mm). Steel bracelet, but only 10mm thick so it sits under shirt cuffs very well. Some of this comes down to how 'formal' you think any tailored clothing is.
