Just a heads up for anyone who loves Rothy's but is considering trying Vivaia. I'm a huge lover of Rothy's. I have many pairs. But lately I've been a bit dismayed about their manufacturing tolerances, or lack thereof. I order the same size and get wildly different sized shoes. Some way too large, laughably so, or way too tight.I have thin (not narrow) feet, and was encouraged to buy a size 10 at the Rothy’s store. They fit reasonably well after washing, but by the end of the day, they’re sliding off my feet. Unless I leave them with the cardboard insert for 3 days, they just stay too big. I’m guessing that the height is too much for my feet, and the shoes .
eta this is for heavy rain. if it’s light rain and your shoes don’t get soaked, that’s usually doable. you’ll likely still want to wash them after. I’ve worn mine while it was raining & even walked through a puddle. My feet got a little wet inside. They dried quickly. I’ve also worn them in snow without issues. Rothy's Bag Alternative/Dupe.
